Awapuhi Volumizing Shampoo by Nature’s Gate, After First Use

My hair always feels so much healthier after switching to a new shampoo, even if it’s just a different formula from the same company. I’ve long enjoyed the clean, fresh scent of Nature’s Gate Moisturizing Aloe Vera Shampoo. However, that favorite is looking to be replaced by their Awapuhi Volumizing Shampoo. It’s simply delicious… the sweetest smelling shampoo I’ve come across.

Nature’s Gate is “committed to using pure, sustainably harvested herbs, fruits and essential oils, without animal-derived ingredients, to enhance the overall health and wellbeing of our customers and our planet.”

GARD Pro Not Registered

I’ve been a fan of their products for years. The only hesitation I’ve ever had was in the price, so now I buy in bulk when it’s on sale. This is generally every 6 weeks or so at my local Sprouts and I can usually find it for a significant price reduction.

One of the main reasons why I choose Nature’s Gate is their use of Certified Organic botanicals in their formulas. All farmed without using harmful pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and others synthetic chemicals. They even minimize their use of fossil fuels in transportation by using a local organic farm in Biggs, California, Bayliss Ranch. This local ranch uses water from runoff and rain in its operations from the nearby Sierra Nevada mountains.

Why Buy Organic Skin Care?

The skin is the largest organ of the body. Although it’s used as a protective layer it has the potential for absorbing many toxins and chemicals. This is why I choose to buy organic, or at least natural, skin care products whenever possible. This includes lotions and sunscreens. Take a look at the labels on your skin care products to learn what you are using.

Awapuhi Shampoo Smells Amazing

After this first wash I am definitely thinking about switching to the Awapuhi Shampoo and Awapuhi Conditioner. It smells delicious. It’s a refreshingly sweet smelling shampoo that makes you hungry. It’s similar to the smell of a Jolly Rancher. Since I’ve only just begun using this new combination I’ll need to do further testing before making my decision. Stick around for my full review of the Nature’s Gate Awapuhi Shampoo and Conditioner.
