With the aim to help America reinvent how we produce and use energy, US Senators John Kerry (Democrat – Massachusetts) and Barbara Boxer (Democrat – California) just introduced their “Clean Energy Jobs and American Power Act.” Millions of Americans will be able to get back to work, the environment and our children's health will be protected, and homegrown innovation will be invested in. The 21st century economy could be closer than ever.

We all know that our addiction to oil is sending a billion dollars a day overseas and helping other economies. Unfortunately this is helping our economy suffer further by relying on outside forces. The “Clean Energy Jobs and American Power Act” is focusing on carbon pollution reduction targets, will be creating powerful new incentives for companies to find ways to meet them, and makes historic new investments in technology to further improve our energy economy.
