Since the launch of the Tesla Roadster in 2008, it is still the only highway-capable electric vehicle (EV) in the world. And over 1,500 Tesla Roadsters around the world, from Vancouver, Canada to Melbourne, Australia, have just driven more than 10 million real-world miles. This is the greatest distance covered by any electric vehicle (EV) maker to date.
“We owe this achievement to Roadster drivers around the world and their pioneering adoption of electric vehicles.” – Tesla CEO Elon Musk
